This long-term program fosters a PhD-student working for Sika’s Latin American Technology Center based in Chile. Under the guidance of two experienced senior experts the student works as an Analytical Chemist and gets to know the work of a scientist thoroughly and in a hands-on manner. The work entails identification of differences or similarities between products and raw materials, checking samples, etc.

Our Research and Development Team in Sarnen, Switzerland, has found an intern. In the scope of this work Phillipp will get the chance to know the varied tasks of an R&D-scientist. In a hands-on-approach he experiences many aspects of chemistry, physics and material science and gains insights into the fascinating Sika world.
