The Sika Experience is looking back on many successful journeys and an engaged community on Facebook. It was a pleasure following students from all over the world on their way with Sika. Now, the Sika Experience moves on with the new concept “Sika awards“ with the aim to involve students in a real-world task about Sika products. Case studies about a construction challenge address civil engineers, material engineers, architects and other students. The participants work out their solutions and submit it to an independent jury. The best students will be rewarded with a prize.
There will be no more experience trips and therefore, we will be closing this website by the end of the year. The Sika Experience Facebook page will also close soon but you can get Sika’s updates, news and stories on facebook.com/Sika.
We have taken some of your hundreds of posts and shared them on sika.com. Thank you very much for all your insights and interesting stories. It has been a pleasure having you on board and following your path along with Sika.
All the best for your career and who knows – maybe we meet at Sika one day.
Best regards, the Sika Experience Team

It is exciting to have been a part of a project that is not only nationally utilized, but makes things a little easier for our sales people on the road.” Sigourney’s blog
The Natural Science-Day offers students and PhD-students an opportunity to get in contact with pharmaceutical and life science companies, explore internship and job opportunities and to build a network with key representatives of various employers.
During company-oriented practical workshops you get to apply your theoretical knowledge and discover the various industries and activities. You can gain an insight how employees work within these companies and you get in touch with the key representatives. At the company booths you have the possibility to exchange with the companies’ employees and find out more about your opportunities for practical training, trainee programs, bachelor and master thesis.
The construction industry has increasing requirements to materials and especially their compounds. In Sika’s workshop at the Natural Science-Day we presented the students a practical example of a challenge in this area and offered insights into the analytical procedures. The Sika experts introduced the students to the analytical methods and they jointly developed a solution. The students learned to connect the analytical measurements with the given problem and how to elaborate an appropriate solution concept. Review of the Natural Science Day
